Establishing the relationship with the Client would normally begin during the proposal process, however there are
occasions where a new Engagement Manager may run the Service Engagement once the contract has been signed by the Client
and Capgemini. As a result, it is important for the Account Manager or the Delivery Manager to introduce the Engagement
Manager to the Client, so that their working relationship can be established as quickly as possible.
Engagement Manager should establish the relationship with the Client based on understanding the client and their
business needs that change over time and circumstances. The value of the Client Relationship is in the ability of the
Engagement Manager to articulate and meet the business needs of the Client and/or his users. One of the approaches for
building client relationship is "Collect-Embed-Collaborate-Innovate" within CLF-Voice of Client.
